I’m pretty sure I played today’s Meditation wrong.
If the intro text wasn’t enough – “There is nothing to do,” it begins – then the creator’s own tweet painted a picture:
Look at that pile of leaves. Every one of them red, which means every one of them was left to fall from the tree in its own time.
For comparison, here’s mine:
Part of it was the piano. Once I realised that plucking a leaf played a musical note, I was clicking all over the place, shedding the tree as quickly as I could. I also enjoyed seeing the pile of leaves at the base of the trunk build up. It looked so soft and inviting. But it probably would have looked even better had I had the patience to let a few more of the leaves turn to yellow and red.
