April 2 Meditation (Kyle Nestmann)

Today’s Meditation is about a leap of faith.

In the intro, the creator – Kyle Nestmann – talks about how things can seem impossible if you look at the obstacles, and about embracing the fact that there usually isn’t a clear path. In the Meditation – for me at least – this played out as wandering the roof of a skyscraper, trying and failing to open a bright yellow trap door, and instead leaping off the edge of the building, where I floated around for a while until everything faded away.

This doesn’t seem like the most positive way to portray the idea of taking a leap of faith, but I suppose the point of faith is that you don’t know where it leads. This ought to be the kind of thing I find quite difficult, and I think I do on a smaller level, but I’ve taken quite a few big leaps in my life: self-employment, the transition from writing to presenting. I’m not sure where it’ll all lead, but I’m enjoying the journey.
