I moved around a lot growing up, and one of my only memories of one place we lived is sitting on my bedroom floor watching lightning fork outside my window.
Today’s Meditation took me a while to figure out. You see six little stick figures standing in a building or shelter of some kind, while clouds of varying shades of grey cluster above, pouring rain. Occasionally lightning strikes and thunder rolls. At the bottom of the screen is what looks like a black platform, which when clicked on – and this is the part that took me too long to realise – reveals a phone with a taxi service app. When a car appears, you have to click on it repeatedly to stop it from just driving away, which was a pretty effective way to suggest the frustration of trying to get someone to come pick you up when you need it most.
Anyway, before I figured out the point of this game I took, like, 50 screenshots trying to capture the lightning in one of the brief moments in which it appears.
