It sure seems like the date of Australia Day ought to be changed.
The creators of today’s Meditation, Izzy Gramp and Grace Bruxner, think it ought to be celebrated today instead, because “May 8” sounds like “mate”.
As far as I can tell, this game is not interactive. The introduction reads “please enjoy our beaches and our reef (…before our government does first >.>’)”. And we do get a beach, sandy, with fluffy clouds overhead and a lighthouse in the distance, the creators’ faces peeking in from the bottom corners (you may recognise Grace from January 22), and the words “g’day may-8” hovering cheerfully above three creatures – a crab, a starfish, a turtle – dancing to the music. This game might not do anything, but it made the person washing up in my kitchen stop to dance too.
